CAIR-Chicago is now seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to join our team who will be responsible for meeting the administrative needs of CAIR-Chicago.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Present a professional, welcoming first contact to all visitors to the CAIR-Chicago office
-Answer, transfer and manage phone calls; take and deliver messages
-Provide support for outreach efforts, including recruitment and management of Intern Program
-Responsible for development and implementation of efficient office systems
-Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving
-Responsible for maintenance of common spaces for appearances and functionality
-Responsible for managing supplies and maintenance of storage areas
-Schedule executive meetings, help track and manage executive calendars
-Provide support to address staff office needs and upkeep of technology
-Attend staff meetings, take notes (meeting minutes), update staff with new developments
-Able to answer questions about the office and CAIR-Chicago succinctly and precisely


-Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
-Proactive, helpful, can-do attitude
-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
-Flexibility to adjust to dynamic work environment
-Experience with non-profit organizational administrative systems a plus
-Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and internet browsers
-Computer literate including spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and web
