CAIR- Chicago hosted an Election Poll Monitoring Training on Thursday, October 25 which was co-sponsored by the Indian American Bar Association and the Muslim Bar Association.
The CAIR-Chicago hosted the Muslim Bar Association’s October Lunch n Learn program which was held on Tuesday, October 30th. Participants included representatives from non-profit organizations working on multiple issues.
Thanks to the efforts of a group of dedicated volunteers from the Bridgeview and Chicago Muslim community who collaborated with the CAIR-Chicago Prison Project, the inmates had a much needed Eid ul Fitr celebration after fasting during the month of Ramadan. A collaboration of community members and CAIR-Chicago teamed up to give Muslim inmates a Eid they would remember.

This spring, CAIR-Chicago volunteers joined together to fundraise for the 2009 March for Babies walk, successfully raising $1,200 to help ensure healthy, full-term pregnancies for pregnant women.
