Chicago Sun-Times: Nourish Mideast harmony

The article about the Arab-Israeli orchestra is a welcome change to the usual coverage of the Middle East [”Barenboim seeks peace with his baton,” Showcase story, Aug. 23]. I urge the Sun-Times to continue covering not only the sad news of the region, but also news that brings hope that Arabs and Israelis can live and work together peacefully. At a point in time when things will either turn to the better or worse, I hope media outlets across the world will work to ensure that the positive relations established in the region will grow overwhelmingly to bring about a final end to the conflict.
