On Tuesday, February 14, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will hold a noon news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., to launch a major educational effort focusing on the life and legacy of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

As of today, CAIR has received 24,336 requests from Americans of all faiths for free Qurans through our “Explore the Quran” campaign. So far, CAIR has mailed out some 11,000 Qurans. Another 7,500 will be mailed soon to those who have requested a free Quran.
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/22/05) – CAIR said today that more than 20,000 people have requested free copies of the Quran since the launch of its “Explore the Quran” campaign earlier this year, and more requests are coming in daily.
CAIR has pledged to cover the costs of shipping Qurans to all those who submit request, but we need your support to fulfill that pledge.
More than 16,000 people have requested free copies of the Quran since the launch of CAIR’s “Explore the Quran” campaign on May 17.
