As Election Day nears, local Muslim advocacy groups are working to get out the vote.
Are you a U.S. citizen over the age of 18 and have not registered to vote? The deadline to vote in the Illinois Primary Elections is fast approaching. In fact, the last day to register is Tuesday, October 10, 2006.
The Illinois primary election is TODAY! That’s right, Election Day is here and CAIR-Chicago volunteers have made nearly 800 phone calls to registered Muslim voters to cast their ballots.
The last day to register to vote for the primary elections is February 20, 2006. As part of a non-partisan political mobilization effort, the CAIR-Chicago team will be at the Mosque Foundation registering voters during Friday Prayer this week.
